Note: | William Terriss né William Charles James Lewin was murdered outside the Adelphi Theatre, aged 49, died 16 December 1897 (Times 21 December 1897); funeral included Col. and Dr Lewin - brother Mr Friend Lewin (his sons Thomas and Herbert Friend?); Wife Isabel Lewin, son Thomas Herbert, daughter Ellaline, son William. Ellaline was a popular actress, and married Seymour Hicks (later Lord and Lady, and published reminiscences. She died a widow 16 June 1971 aged 100. |
