Bibliography

Reviews:Jopling PC1, 2380.jpg
Jopling 1925 Quote:
Other Quotations:'The same must not be said of Mrs. Jopling's "Elaine." Poor Elaine, whose troubles are bringing her near to death, is lying back against a cushion, her weariness of life being admirably expressed in her worn and tender face. The method of painting is vigorous and there is no more telling work of the same kind in the exhibition' (PC bk 1, undated, 2380)
