Jopling 1925 Quote:
Other Quotations:"For Bread," a London winter scene, with a beggar and her children shivering in the cold - are all good in their several ways. Three of them are such boudoir-bits of comedy or domestic drama as we are apt to think French painters alone have the secret of, and for which Mrs. Jopling may be partly indebted to her French teaching, the other a painful study from the real winter world of snow and suffering which lies at London doors.
